Thai Red Sweet Tea

2 litres

6 bags of Thai Red tea (Cha Dra Muer/ Number One Brand) 

2 litres water   

1/2 cup granulated sugar 


Lemon slices



  1. Add 2 litres of water to a pot and bring to a boil, remove from heat

  2. Steep the tea bags in the hot water for 5 mins then discard Mix the sugar into the hot tea so it dissolves completely 

  3. Pour the tea into a 2 litre pitcher and refrigerate until very cold  

  4. Serve over ice and lemon
