Maple Vanilla Pancakes

1 cup of flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

2 tbsp sugar

3/4 cup whole milk

1 tbsp white wine vinegar

1 tbsp melted butter

1 egg

1 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp vanilla bean paste



  1. Melt your butter and leave to cool

  2. Pour your vinegar into your milk and leave to sit for 5 minutes to make buttermilk

  3. Whisk your eggs and mix in melted butter, buttermilk, maple syrup and vanilla bean paste

  4. In a separate bowl, combine all your dry ingredients

  5. Add your wet ingredients mix to your dry ingredients and stir with a spatula until smooth

  6. Heat your skillet up, grease it with butter, spoon in some batter & flip when you see bubbles on the surface

  7. Stack the pancakes & serve with your favourite toppings (berries, maple syrup, bacon, sausages, the options are endless!
