Cinnamon Sugar French Toast

1 brioche, challah or agege bread

3 eggs

1 cup of heavy cream

1 tbsp vanilla bean paste


1 cup of caster sugar

2 tbsp cinnamon



  1. Slice the loaf and pre heat your oven at 160°C

  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, cream and vanilla bean paste

  3. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon

  4. Heat a skillet up and melt butter

  5. Dip each side (both sides) into your egg-cream mix and put it in the skillet, toast on each side till you. get a nice golden colour

  6. After toasting each slice, dip it into the sugar-cinnamon mix and transfer to an oven rack

  7. Put toasted slices in the oven for 5 minutes to finish

  8. Serve warm & enjoy with maple syrup, berries, sausages or some bacon
